I am a 4.0 player and have watched more than 100 Youtube videos about pickleball strategy and technique. I enrolled in the 5-week-long "Attack Counterattack" clinic with a fair amount of skepticism and not knowing what to expect.
The clinic far surpassed my expectations. Joe and Peter not only are scholars of the sport, but they have put a lot of thought into how to teach in a fun and highly effective manner. "Neuropickleball" basically means teaching the brain how to become a finely-honed pickleball machine.
Yes, it works. In just 5 short weeks my skills have improved noticeably. I am better able to cause pop-ups and other attack opportunities in the kitchen. I have better judgment about which balls to attack, and how to attack them. I also have a better understanding of my deficiencies (for example, paying attention to what my opponents are doing at the same time I am trying to hit the ball over the net).
I have begun to apply the lessons I learned in this clinic to my games and drills. I still have a long way to go to reach my goals, but as a result of this clinic I now have a much better understanding of what I need to do to get there. All in all, the clinic was excellent and I strongly recommend it to anyone who is serious about becoming a better player.
